The awarded patented technology, "A Production Method for Lithium-ion Battery Cathode Materials", was developed by PUHLER Nano to address the core pain point of uneven slurry particle size during cathode material grinding, which impairs battery performance. It delivers an intelligent nano-grinding equipment system that enables continuous, large-scale industrial production of lithium-ion cathode materials with uniform particle size and excellent dispersion.
Integrating combined feeding, mixing & dispersion, and precision grinding equipment with data collection, analysis and automatic monitoring systems, this patented technology realizes full automation and intelligent control of cathode material nano-grinding. Coordinated multi-process procedures guarantee thorough grinding, narrow particle size distribution and consistent product quality across batches, supporting continuous automatic mass production.
Tested by Guangdong Machinery Quality Supervision & Inspection Station, a single production line achieves a maximum capacity of 2420 kg/h with a slurry output of 27.42 kg per kWh, reaching internationally advanced technical standards. To date, this technology has been deployed in multiple lithium iron phosphate production lines with highly positive customer feedback, delivering remarkable economic and social benefits.
